History:

The first TEOS forum was organized by the Power Optimised Aircraft consortium to display and discuss some of the More Electric Aircraft Equipment System technologies that were studied as part of that research effort within the European Community.

The second TEOS forum was organized by the Energy Optimized Aircraft and Equipment Systems (EOASys) Program Committee of AIAA directly following the 7th AIAA ATIO Conference in Belfast to highlight past and future research efforts in the integration of more electric systems on both sides of the Atlantic.

About TEOS III:

The Third TEOS forum, also organized by the AIAA EOASys Committee in collaboration with the EPE conference, will focus on technology transition opportunities for power electronic devices, drives/conversion circuits that are of great interest in today's international aerospace commercial and defense aerospace communities.

TEOS III topics to be presented will include:

* The United States Air Force (USAF) Integrated Vehicle Energy Technology (INVENT) Program
* The More Electric 787's Electrical Power System (Boeing)
* A Bombardier More Electric Aircraft Technology Update
* Propulsion System Integration Considerations (Boeing), and
* Advanced Design and Optimization Methods for Aircraft System Architectures (Georgia Tech University).

For EPE 2009-participants, the registration fee is included in the conference fee.

The registration fee for people who would like to participate only to TEOS III is 150,00 Euro (VAT Incl.). They should register through the EPE 2009-Registration Website and select TEOS III.
